Alzheimer’s Society

Leading the fight against dementia

There are 700,000 people with dementia in the UK with numbers set to rise to one million by 2025.  Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading support services and research charity for people with dementia and those who care for them and brings together people with dementia, carers, family and friends, health and social care professionals, researchers, scientists and politicians to work towards improving the lives of all concerned.

Your pennies have helped people like Sheila access support from a Dementia Support Worker and helped improve Linda’s quality of life through a sociable local singing initiative, as well as helping the charity provide legal and financial information, support services, research funding and making sure they can keep campaigning for the needs and interests of people with dementia.
