The Trussell Trust
Charity shop raising extra funds to help people in crisis
The Trussell Trust was founded in 1997 and runs a network of over 400 foodbanks, giving emergency food and support to people in crisis across the UK, as well as working with sister organisation FSCI to break the cycle of poverty in the Balkans and Eastern Europe.
When you pick up a bargain at one of The Trussell Trust’s charity shops in the Salisbury and Dorset areas, you are already supporting their work. By introducing the digital charity box to its shops in early 2012, The Trussell Trust gave its customers the chance to help that little bit more, by adding a 25p donation when paying by card at the till.
