Supporting the local community
The Adnams Community Trust was formed in 1990 to celebrate the centenary of Adnams as a public company. It is funded by a percentage of Adnams’ profits, mandated dividends, legacies, donations and fundraising. The Adnams Community Trust awards grants of up to £2,500 to good causes within 25 miles of Southwold, helping small organisation in Adnams’ local community. Since its inception it has awarded grants totalling in excess of £1.3m.
The Trust have helped a variety of local causes from Brocks Barn Hedgehog Rescue, a rehabilitation programme to help rescued hedgehogs to Musica, a music workshop for young people with additional needs. The money you donate through Pennies in store and online at www.adnams.co.uk is helping make a big difference to many local community projects, a few pence at a time.
