Age Concern Jersey

Everyone should have the opportunity to lead a fulfilling later life

Age Concern Jersey supports the elderly in the community and campaigns on their behalf. They believe everyone should have the opportunity to lead a fulfilling later life and welcome anyone over the age of 55, whatever their needs, interests or circumstances, to benefit from information, support and services – including care, activities and transport.

The charity operates Windsor House, a day care centre and the charities HQ, as a safe place full of information, events and activities like crafts and computer classes designed to keep Jersey senior citizens socially active.

The charity also operates a volunteering programme, with volunteers visit elderly people who are ill (whether it’s at home, in residential care or at the hospital) and also run the the charity shop, situated next door to Windsor House. Age Concern Jersey relies totally on the generosity of the local community to support its work and every time you give a little change (digital, of course!) when paying by card at Voisins department store you’ll be helping give elderly people a voice and support, whatever their need.
