Annie’s Challenge

Supporting brain tumour research

Annie’s Challenge was set up by a heartbroken family as a lasting memorial to a brave and beautiful 29-year-old daughter, wife and mother who died of a brain tumour in March 2016, 8 months after diagnosis. Brain tumour research currently only receives 1% of the Government research budget but is the biggest cancer killer of under 40 year olds. Annie’s Challenge aims to change this: by offering financial assistance to research programmes looking at the disease; by helping those in the later stages of cancer with the care they need and by providing funds to other charities looking to perform similar functions.

Your donations, made when shopping with Adnams from February to April 2017 are supporting those organisations and charities dedicated to prevention, cure and care for those affected by brain tumours. Annie’s brother, Henry, and his friend Sam are also undertaking a mammoth 6,000 mile walk from the UK to Kathmandu to raise funds – read their story here.
