East Anglian Air Ambulance
Dedicated to protecting human life in East England
East Anglian Air Ambulance began just 14 years ago, operating one helicopter serving Norfolk, Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire for one day a week. In EAAA’s first decade they were able, through incredible community support, to extend their operation to include Bedfordshire and to operate 365 days a year. They have stretched the boundaries still further by becoming the first air ambulance service in England and Wales to operate a full helicopter emergency medical service (HEMS) during the hours of darkness.
It is because of the dedication and hard work of EAAA’s supporters, volunteers, and staff that they have been able to accomplish such achievements. The people who continue to give to the charity, even through hard times, make it possible for their dedicated medical teams to help those in need. Pennies donations made at Adnams stores over Christmas 2014 helped fund the EAAA’s vital work, and as of 2017 customers can donate when paying for petrol and goods at Motor Fuel Group(MFG) roadside retail sites in East Anglia too.
