Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity
Help care for Scotland’s children
160,000 babies, children and young people are treated at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow every year. Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity sits firmly at the heart of the hospital, raising money to ensure that young patients and their families receive the best possible care. With your support, the charity can fund enhanced medical equipment, innovative play programmes that help to distract, teach and treat children during their stay, family support services and groundbreaking paediatric research to help future generations of Scotland’s children.
In 2015, the hospital moved from its home at Yorkhill to a brand new children’s hospital – the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow, and the charity (previously Yorkhill Children’s Charity) continues to help the hospital provide world-class care. Your donations have had a big impact on their work to date, contributing to a crucial project to upgrade equipment in the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
