Jersey Brain Tumour Charity

Providing help, support and information to those affected by brain tumours in Jersey

The Jersey Brain Tumour Charity was formed to support Jersey residents in meeting the challenges that a brain tumour diagnosis can bring. Their aim is to ensure that any Islander affected by a brain tumour diagnosis whether directly or indirectly, is well supported and able to make informed decisions, and never feels alone on their journey. To date they have supported over 400 people.

There are 130 different types of brain tumour and until they were established in 2011, there were no local organisations specifically dedicated to support patients, clients and families affected by them.

Their services are highly tailored to the needs of their clients to ensure they provide high quality and consistent support during times of uncertainty which include a 24/7 free phone line and specialist face-to-face emotional support. They also hold a monthly “Brainy Buddies” support group meeting and is designed to help people share experiences and provide peer support for patients, families and friends. Your donations when shopping in Voisins Department Store help fund their support work and change the lives of those living with a brain tumour.
