The Prince’s Countryside Fund

Supporting the people who take care of the countryside

The Prince’s Countryside Fund gives grants to projects that support the people who care for the countryside. Their mission is to secure a sustainable future for our countryside by supporting the UK’s rural communities, British agriculture and the wider rural economy. Projects range from apprenticeships for budding hill farmers, training for pig farmers to create value added products, community transport schemes and services in isolated rural areas and initiatives to educate school children about where their food comes from and why the countryside matters.

Pennies donations are helping projects large and small across the UK that support the charity’s core objectives. These include providing education and training opportunities for farmers of the future; supporting rural livelihoods including business and enterprise; creating thriving communities with improved service provisions; providing countryside education to children and young people. Your donations really do make a huge difference in supporting the people that live and work in rural communities and work tirelessly to make it tick.
