Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity

Granting magical wishes everyday

Every day Rays of Sunshine Childrens Charity gives brave and deserving young people aged 3-18 the chance to put their illness on hold and enjoy a moment of escape. Since the first wish was granted in 2003, dreams of being a princess or a fireman for the day have come true as well as wishes to visit DisneyWorld and Santa in Lapland. The charity also organises events throughout the year for large groups of seriously ill children including ‘The Rays of Sunshine Concert’.

A hospital ward wish scheme was also introduced in 2012 to offer a distraction to children during their time in hospital. By adding just a few pennies to your purchase when paying by card, you’ve helped Rays of Sunshine grant all kinds of wishes, big and small, and made dreams come true for children like Faith and Samuel.
