Shooting Star Children’s Hospices

Children’s hospice care in Surrey and London

Shooting Star Children’s Hospices is a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. The charity supports families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care and their bespoke support is free of charge to families and available 365 days a year. This includes short breaks at its two hospices – Shooting Star House in Hampton and Christopher’s in Guildford.

It costs £10 million a year to maintain this current level of care. Around 10% of that income comes from government funding, but the charity relies on its supporters’ generosity to keep the service running. You can help many more families desperate for vital support when you make a micro-donation to Shooting Star Children’s Hospices using Pennies, with just a press of a button. Whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months or years, Shooting Star Children’s Hospices makes every moment count.
