The UK’s leading charity dedicated to conquering stroke
The Stroke Association believes in life after stroke. That’s why the charity supports stroke survivors to make the best recovery they can, campaigns for better stroke care and funds research to develop new treatments and ways of preventing stroke. In Jersey over 125 people a year are affected by stroke. It kills twice as many women as breast cancer and more men than prostate and testicular cancer combined.
The Stroke Recovery Services the charity provides in Jersey support stroke survivors and their families, and are funded solely by fundraised income. From March 2017 to April 2018, customers could donate a little when paying by card at partner retailer Voisins in Jersey, while in June and July 2019, Papa John’s customers could donate via Pennies in support of Stroke Association when ordering their pizzas online or in-app
