Incredible hospice and neurological care
Sue Ryder provides expert medical care and emotional & practical support for people facing a frightening, life-changing diagnosis. Not only does the charity treat more conditions than any other UK charity in their hospices, neurological care centres and out in the community; they also campaign to improve the lives of people living with them. Your donations, made via Pennies at Notcutts Peterborough Garden Centre, support one of the charity’s 7 UK hospices – Thorpe Hall.
Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice cares for patients aged 16 and over from across the region at the hospice in Peterborough and in the community. Just £100 pays for a Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice nurse for a day. That’s a day of incredible care for hospice patients and those close to them at the most difficult time of their lives. The team also supports Synergy Cafés for those living with dementia and their carers, which are held weekly at Thorpe Hall and at the Sue Ryder Café in Stanground, Peterborough.
