We thought it would be nice to use our regular charity Tuesday blog post to remind you of some of the beneficiary charities of our new retail partners.

As you may have spotted in the press last week, we recently announced a number of new retail partners including The Fragrance Shop, Adnams Cellar & Kitchen Stores and DFS. Their customers can now join millions of other consumers and donate their pennies to help a range of causes chosen by our new partners to benefit.

If you’re thinking ofRays of sunshine - logo buying perfume for someone special this Christmas why not pop into The Fragrance Shop because as well as a great selection of perfumes, they’re also giving customers the opportunity to add a 5p donation when paying by card. On top of this, every transaction will be matched by the retailer, which means their beneficiary charity Rays of Sunshine will receive even more money to help them to grant wishes of seriously or terminally ill children.

Another charity we’re featuring this week is Prostate Cancer UK, who was nominated by Adnams Southwold to benefit from donations made at their Cellar & Kitchen Stores. Every time their customers choose to round up their purchase and donate the change, they’re helping Prostate Cancer fight to help more men survive prostate cancer and enjoy a better quality of life.

And our final charitMacmillan logoy mention this week is Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity that has shared part of every donation made via Pennies but now will be the main beneficiary of pennies donated at DFS. You can read our post from last week to see how pennies donated via Pennies have made an impact so far by helping to heat homes for people whilst they received chemotherapy treatment.

We’re already seeing thousands of donations being made at these new retailers and with the Christmas shopping season about to kick in, we’re hoping the festive spirit will bring out some extra generosity this season.
