Here at Pennies, we’re now on the lookout for communications professional to head up our Marketing and Communications department. This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic young charity here in London, and be part of a truly exciting innovation in giving and fundraising.

Role title: Head of Marketing and Communications.
Contract: Permanent, full-time employee.
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000, based on experience.

As the Head of Marketing and Communications you will lead on all PR activity for the organisation, develop the charity’s brand and build awareness of Pennies.  The role provides the opportunity to take the lead on wider elements including a growing events programme and building relationships both with charity and retail partners too.

You’ll have hands on marketing and media relations experience, be experienced in engaging with journalists and have a good understanding of the media, either with journalistic or press office experience.  You’ll also have up to date digital and social media knowledge and be a confident and effective communicator both orally and in writing.
