Pennies, the award-winning fintech charity, found in a survey that 48% of UK consumers would be more likely to micro-donate if they knew giving just 35p a week could raise £1 billion annually for charities.
Pennies chosen as charity partner for multichannel European expo IRX
Leading multichannel fintech charity Pennies, has been selected as official charity partner of the UK’s biggest multichannel event, the Internet Retailing Expo (IRX) – which showcases the latest innovations for online and multichannel retailing, at the NEC in Birmingham on 27th and 28th April 2016.
The 6th edition of this award winning show, owned by Clarion Events – another Pennies partner – will welcome over 6000 visitors and host more than 300 exhibitors and sponsors.
Rakuten, ASDA, House of Fraser, Tesco, Halfords, John Lewis, and other retailers from across the globe will take the stage to discuss and learn what 2016 will bring for e-commerce and multichannel and how they can manage operational challenges to increase growth opportunities and customer satisfaction.
We’re proud to be partnering with the event, and hope to influence more retailers to give their customers a simple, anonymous and frictionless way to make their pennies count for charity.
The digital upgrade of the traditional charity box, Pennies provides the public a chance to give their digital small change a big purpose when they pay by card – in-store, online and in apps. The retailers choose the charity, and the choice to donate is always the consumer’s. All donations are anonymous, and there is no charity follow up.
We’re thrilled to have raised £6million for over 100 UK charities over the last five years – which equates to over 27 million customers clicking and pressing ‘yes’ to donate.
Over 50 retailers have helped us achieve all this to date; including Domino’s Pizza, Zizzi restaurants, The Entertainer, The Fragrance Shop and Screwfix.
IRX is the only free-to-attend European trade show covering all aspects of multichannel – and we hope to see you there!
