Get ready to make a big impact with small change!

Pennies is thrilled to announce the first-ever Micro-Donation Day, taking place on Monday 26th August 2024.

This national day of giving is all about supporting the micro-donation movement, and we’ve got Pennies’ partners on board to help spread the word. While the official celebration is on Monday 26th August, the campaign will run throughout the entire week, giving everyone plenty of time to get involved and make a difference.

Micro-Donation Day aims to drive donations with our existing partners while boosting awareness of Pennies’ mission to protect and grow micro-donations. We’re looking to enhance partner engagement and increase customer participation by highlighting the significant impact of micro-donations. Small contributions from many people can create a powerful force for good, and this campaign is designed to showcase exactly that.

Our supporting partners

Our partners are preparing for Micro-Donation Day with exciting activities, from heartfelt customer thank-yous and promotions to engaging social media campaigns. Some will even increase their donation values or run match-funding campaigns, maximising the impact of every contribution.

We are proud to have the support of several incredible partners committed to making Micro-Donation Day a success. This year’s key supporters include:

Why get involved?

Micro-Donation Day provides a unique opportunity for businesses to celebrate their charitable achievements and demonstrate their commitment to making a positive impact through micro-donations. By getting involved, our partners will bring together customers and employees to support micro-donations, creating a sense of community and shared purpose.

The heightened visibility during the campaign will not only boost awareness for the partners and their chosen charities but also enhance their reputation and reach, making a significant and lasting impact on the community and the micro-donation movement.
