We’re proud to announce the launch of the Annual Pennies Awards 2025. Now in their sixth year, the Pennies Awards celebrate the businesses, people and partners powering progress through micro-donations — helping turn small change into big impact.
Since they began, the Pennies Awards have recognised the exceptional efforts of those advancing the micro-donation movement — from innovative campaigns and technology to individuals going the extra mile behind the scenes.
Enter now to put forward a business, team, or individual who you believe has made a real difference. It’s a chance to shine a light on inspiring stories and celebrate the growing impact of micro-donations across the UK and beyond.
We’ll be recognising excellence across five key categories, each highlighting different aspects of the outstanding work of our partners:
Recognising a merchant partner that has enabled significant growth in micro-donations as a result of specific actions, driving increased consumer donations in their business and unlocking increased measurable impact for their charity partners.
Recognising a technology partner who has led a significant technology project, development or innovation to enable the unlocking of more micro-donation opportunities and the creation of greater charitable impact.
Recognising any partner who has helped to rapidly accelerate growth in the micro-donation movement over the past 12 months.
Recognising an individual or team in the broader Pennies family who has gone above and beyond to accelerate or support the Pennies micro-donation movement.
Recognising an organisation which has made an outstanding contribution to Pennies and the micro-donation movement resulting in significant positive outcomes.

Recognising the partners, organisations and individuals whose innovation, collaboration and commitment help unlock small acts of giving and deliver huge impact, the winners of this year’s Pennies Awards will be announced on Wednesday 4 November 2026.
Pennies is delighted to have won two awards at the Charity Times Awards 2026, with Alison Hutchinson CBE named Charity Leader of the Year and Peter Nugent named Supporting Leader of the Year, following Pennies’ shortlist in four categories.
Pennies strengthens its Hospitality and Leisure Advisory Board with the appointment of Tracy Gehlan, President, EMEA at Subway International, and Matthew Price, Regional General Manager for Uber Eats, EMEA.
The pair bring senior leadership experience from two of the world’s best-known food and delivery brands to support Pennies’ work with hospitality partners.
