Pennies is a runner up at the Nominet Internet Awards 2013
Last night a few members of the Pennies team got dressed up to the nines and headed off to the Nominet Internet Awards 2013. Held at the British Library, the awards were celebrating the internet being used as a force for good and we were delighted that Pennies work raising donations online was nominated in the ‘doing good online’ category.
Organisations shortlisted in this category had been recognised for their work to promote charity fundraising online, using the internet to support or help others, raising awareness of causes online or running online campaigns. We were up against some great finalists who are all working to promote good causes via the internet, including Age UK and vinspired. Unfortunately we weren’t winners this time but were honoured to be mentioned as a runner up. Huge congratulations to GlobalGivingUK who took home the gong on the night!
