We’re delighted to announce that the Pennies Awards 2026 are now open for nominations, with winners set to be revealed at our annual Pennies Celebration Event on Wednesday 4th November.

Now in their seventh year, the Pennies Awards shine a spotlight on the businesses, technology partners, charities and individuals helping to grow the micro-donation movement and deliver meaningful impact for good causes across the UK.

This year, we’re also introducing a new category – the Power of Partnership Award – recognising the collaborations and organisations working behind the scenes to help grow the micro-donation movement. From charity partners and industry bodies to agencies, consultancies and strategic collaborators, this award celebrates the collective effort that helps turn small donations into significant impact.

As we look ahead to another year of celebrating innovation, collaboration and impact, we’re also taking a moment to reflect on the achievements recognised at last year’s awards.

Celebrating the 2025 Winners and Finalists

Last year’s Pennies Awards, held as part of our 15th anniversary celebrations, recognised the outstanding organisations and individuals helping to drive the micro-donation movement forward.

From Iceland Foods, Acrelec UK, B&Q and Verifone taking home category awards, to our Unsung Hero winners and an exceptional group of finalists, the 2025 Awards showcased the innovation, collaboration and commitment that continue to transform small customer donations into significant charitable impact.

You can revisit the winners, highlights and celebrations from the evening by watching the Awards video below and reading our full highlights roundup.

We encourage all our charity partners, merchant partners, technology providers and supporters to submit nominations and join us at this year’s celebration event.

Pennies has now enabled more than 300 million micro-donations, raising over £75 million for more than 1,100 charities, and the Awards are an opportunity to recognise those helping drive that impact forward.

About Pennies

Pennies is the trusted leader in micro-donations. They have worked with more than 150 brands since 2010 to enable more than 300 million donations, raising over £75 million for 1,100+ charities.

In an increasingly cashless society, where people still prefer to give little and often, Pennies is ensuring the public still has ways to donate the small amounts that are so vital for charities.

Pennies partners with merchants and payments providers to enable micro-donation opportunities at checkout, helping create huge impact for charities in need. Micro-donations give customers paying by card or digitally a quick, affordable and data-free way to add a small donation to their purchase – in-store, online and in-app.

Pennies’ vision is one day, wherever and whenever people pay by card or digitally, they’ll be given the opportunity to donate a few pence to charity. Making giving simple, every day. Because micro-donations matter.
