Jersey Hospice Care are a wonderful charity who are about living, not dying – they focus on their patients fulfilling every last wish. They provide a range of services to patients and their friends and family such as, a day hospice, Lymphoedema treatments, complementary therapies, an emotional support service, palliative care and a community bereavement service and without your continued support and generous donations this wouldn’t be possible.

In the last two years Voisins have raised over £35,000 for 10 different charities in Jersey and have played a strong role in the community.

We are delighted to have raised such a significant sum of money to support these tremendously deserving charities, and would like to thank all our customers for their generosity.’ – Emily Moore, Head of Marketing at Voisins

As well as making sure their patients live life to the fullest, Jersey Hospice Care’s emotional and bereavement support team make it their duty to ensure friends and families who have lost a loved one have the provision and care to support their transition and lives moving forward.

‘Although I had great support from family and friends, it was incredibly valuable having the support of the Community Bereavement Service. They were professional at all times and I could be open about my feelings and thoughts, as I didn’t even have to question their confidentiality. It is a truly wonderful service and, even after a year attending monthly sessions, there was never any pressure to finish.’ – Michael, Emotional and Bereavement Support Service user

In just three weeks of Voisins customers pressing YES Jersey Hospice Care are able to use the £600 raised to provide two families facing the loss of a child with a course of emotional support. Your small change can make a huge difference to the islanders using these amazing services.
