We’ll forgive you for not catching us live at 5.45am this morning, but we were thrilled to be invited onto the BBC World Business Report – also aired on BBC News – to talk about the power of micro-donations.

CEO Alison Hutchinson CBE spoke to Sally Bundock, BBC World News Financial Journalist, about the opportunities we all have, even as belts understandably tighten and household costs rise, to give a few digital pennies to charity – as they add up to enormous impact and vital income for the UK charity sector.

“I know during these challenges, that’s when people want to give more – even just a penny. And what’s really great is, with micro-donations it’s not just your penny, these pennies all add up and they add up quickly… So you might not have a lot of your own, but if you give just a penny – you can really make a difference.”
